Through our Schoolhouse to Statehouse program, Parents for Public Schools is working with parents across the state to improve local schools and school districts. We are engaged in the grassroots work of organizing parents, building leadership skills, and equipping parents for advocacy to speak out in support of public schools and to work for needed change and reform.

PPS supports the mission of The Parents’ Campaign, a nonpartisan organization dedicated to improving state and legislative education efforts (for more information visit, www.msparentscampaign.org). The Parents’ Campaign informs parents of legislation that affects Mississippi schools, helps them identify and contact their own legislators, and reports to them about how their legislators vote on bills that determine the level of education offered their children.

Parents for Public Schools does not employ a lobbyist, endorse any political candidate, or donate to any candidate running for office.
